Event: Career and University Fair
Location: 204 Main Street, Marathon
Duration: 8:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
Description: Set up by the Marathon High School FBLA, the Career and University Fair is new as of 2013. The Marathon High School FBLA invited local businesses to partake in this event so that High School students could learn about the businesses and what it is they do. Businesses include businesses from Marathon, Edgar, and Stratford areas. The Marathon High School FBLA also invited UW colleges to attend this event to inform the students of their college and what would be an interest to them. The UW colleges attending include UW-GB, UW-MC, Globe University, and much more.

Event: FBLA State @ the Chula Vista

Duration: 2 Day Event; April 15-16.
Description: State FBLA is a great learning experience. This event challenges students to compete against other schools, and to use the business skills they've learned. The location of this event changes from year to year, but is always in Wisconsin.
Zumba Classes

Event: Zumba Classes
Location: 204 Main Street, Marathon
Duration: Wednesdays, February 20 - April 10 with no class March 27.
Description: Zumba Classes are classes that you use music to dance to for exercise. These classes are an hour long, from 6:30 - 7:30. At these classes, you will dance to new, popular songs, and follow the routine of the instructor. The cost of these classes are $30 for the full session (each Wednesday until the end) or $5 per night (drop-in).

Event: Cent$ of Reality
Location: 204 Main Street, Marathon
Duration: All Day Event.
Description: Set up by Marathon and Edgar Schools, Cent$ of Reality is a day in which High School Seniors are to get a "sense" of the real world. This is an all day event that takes place at Marathon High School. Students will be assigned an occupation and a monthly income for their occupation in this area of the country. Their family status (married, single, children) will be randomly assigned. Paychecks are distributed as they enter the event and Uncle Sam will be waiting to deduct his share. If they are married, their spouses' occupation is assigned ad his/her earnings are included in the paycheck. Each student visits a bank, deposits their pay, and receives a checkbook. Students will then visit various booths to "take care" of various monthly financial obligations.

Description: The Tech. Ed. State is a 2 day event. The Marathon High School Tech. Ed. Club students partake in an event, that can be both days or one day. This event is fun for students looking to have a hands on in building & creating, or who want to use technology such as Photography.

Duration: 2 Day Event; March 15-16.
Description: The Marathon High School Academic Decathlon team competes against 19 other schools at State Competition. Here they will compete against schools on the theme "Russia". Other schools attending include New Berlin, Waukesha West, and much more.

Description: The Econ. Challenge is encouraged for students who've taken an Economics class. This event is competitive, and split up into two divisions; David Richardo (Restricted to students enrolled in one-semester or less high school course not labeled as AP, IB, honors, or college level.) and Adam Smith (Restricted to students enrolled in courses labeled AP, IB, honors, or college level.
